Diorite
Intrusive igneous rock of intermediate composition (between mafic and felsic).
Rock has a "salt and pepper" crystalline appearance. This sample is dominated by plagioclase, hornblend, biotite, and a trace of quartz. With more quartz it would be granodiorite.
